A decent pc is also an investment. PC upgrades get cheaper as newer stuff comes out so upgrading it overall to be up to par is cheaper than buying a new console every few years (no including all the things that don't transfer from console to console)

Not rly connected to the short but, I think consoles should team up with steam, and make that you can use a code to buy the game on steam (after itās out for pc) and share the save files, but the price would be lower and the steam would split the percentages with the consoleās company. Thus players who already owned the game wouldnāt just stick to the console to play but in return the consoleās company get some money in return.
P.s you could say that in steam itās ādemoā so you canāt have dlc and you have to buy it in the console shop, and just make the console shop site available from the web so even if the console dies you can still play

You forgot to say that in pc you can play more games than a console , and that you can choose keyboard and mouse or any kinds of remote, even custom ones

PC can do more than PS5, I also have a PS and a pc. I had the PS5 for 520$. And the pc for 450$.
Playing FN in PS gets 60 FPS. On pc I get 120-155 FPS. And yes both on 4K(Well it is very important to download the drivers, if u don't it won't work or function properly)š
