This feels like dark half part two
It’s one of the better stories in my opinion of these novellas the other being the sun dog. I know this novella collection isn’t widely revered but for a newly sober Stephen king trying to see if he could do it without drugs it’s alright also the ending translated better in the story then it did the show.

There was a musician I don’t know his name but he wrote a song that sounded almost exactly the same as a previous song. It caused a bit of a stir but ultimately it was decided that the song was subtly different and you can’t really plagiarize yourself
