The first step in this easy ground beef taco recipe is to set yourself up now for amazing flavor later. Mix mayo, ketchup and pickles together then refrigerate until it’s time to eat.
After that, form the burger patties with your beef and a pinch or two of seasoning and place them on a skillet or pan. You can make them on the grill too, as long as you have a flat cooking surface, like a pan, you can place over the grates.
Then comes the fun part: the smashing.
Use your spatula to press the patties down. When they’re cooked through, place them on a soft tortilla, top with cheese and let it melt. Top with shredded lettuce, dices tomatoes and onions before finishing it off with your mayo mixture.
