We have a neo-liberal know-it-all man being the minister of Finance. If he would have become a model, he would have done no harm to the future of our country. Soon we will probably have the least charming chancellor and he will ruin the future of my children and my grandchild, because there is so little time to equalize mistakes. I see a dark moon rising and I hope there will be a lot of pressure in the right direction from the streets. Can you imagine that future generations may have half the salary due to climate change? More than forty years these dangers have been known and yet we are still driving fast towards the abyss. Listen to science, for heaven‘s sake!

no guys, she has a point. hear me out: neoliberalism is a transcension of neoclassical/enlightenment era ideas that the american revolution was founded upon, america followed a thread of progressive ideals but under neoliberalism became a hypocrite of these ideals, yet still diluited enough to believe that they are the only sensible option. while the soviets were stirred on by progressive new age ideals that also challenged the traditional socioeconomic structure, the dark historical comedy she's talking about is the fact that these two states have the exact same layout, claiming to be a utopian society, exisiting in paradox to one another. despite the fact that both of their populations' are often mismanaged and suffer under both utopian idealogies. ✌️

Friedrich Engels wrote explicitly about Marxism/Socialism not being a utopian ideology, and explained what is meant by scientific socialism. Dialectical materialism being a science does not mean that you have an objective measure of history that produces a guaranteed plan of action for the economy. It means that you have as complete of a picture of history as possible , and using that knowledge to make educated guesses regarding economic planning.
