He did the right thing. But it would be cool if not even the player, but the team organization would privately reward a guy like this with comparable open market cash value for a ball like that. As a reward to their player, and to the fan who wasn't greedy.

Trout didn't have a glove with him,and he gave him a bunch of bats and balls signed, also tickets whenever he wants, and spent hour with family. Good man
