For anyone wondering blue pigment in anything is the hardest to make naturally. Especially in paint. This is why it is so rare to see in nature and most of the blue things you see in nature aren’t actually blue. Ex) blue moths get their color from hairs on their body refracting light, it doesn’t have blue moth dust. Same with flowers you see

I'm not sure it's the prettiest blue, but the way I gasped at how prettily and perfectly it mixed with the yellow and red. That light purple is stunning and then it also made the most gorgeous bright green.

Okay you totally sold me while making secondary colors 😱 I have mixed some dingy ass purples in my day (Cadmium red and ultramarine is a no from me lol). But those combos were really satisfying. That green! Amazin

I spent. ALL of my life since highschool art class. Yelling, "PURPLE IS A LIE!" Because we had no primary blues. Seeing this beautiful lilac from manganese gives me the blues.

I use almost that exact shade of blue in digital art as my true blue! Using HSV saturation and value are both 100 and hue is 55-65, usually 60ish, but different screens can be a little bit differently colored.

I feel happy seeing that OG blue it screams "I AM BLUE" it feels sooo right especially when you mixed it with other color. what a gorgeous blue. Really need to see that og primary blue with my own eyes so bad

That cerulean was certainly a hell of a lot closer to the Manganese than the other blues! It probably mixes almost as well as a primary... I've learned something today!
