I was a bartender during college. Easy $300 to $400 a night. Flexibility was unmatched, too. I would work full time during breaks, then throttle my hours down to part-time during semesters.

One thing to remember is that teaching also helps you remember stuff a lot better than just normal studying, so if you are already proficient enough to tutor, you will likely become even better by doing the job consistently.

I work for a company that runs concessions for sports game. I go to a D1 school. I started off making $17 an hour. Working every weekend. From working one semester, I got promoted to stand lead and make $21 an hour. One of the higher ups recommended me as a site lead so if I get that, I run all of the stands in the stadium. That makes $28 an hour. I am a sophomore in college too. The best thing about this side gig is that I don’t have to work for just my university, I can go to any university that uses the same company and work as a stand lead. I can also pick and choose which games I work. There are opportunities folks, you just gotta find them!

Yeah, I work in my campus' writing center and it's legit the best decision I could have made. I got free training on writing papers, improving my GPA, and most of my time is spent waiting for students to come in, so in the meanwhile, I work on my own assignments. Pay's alright, too. Not fantastic, not terrible.
