Careful changing the way the flame burns with the air blowing. It won't produce carbon monoxide unless you interrupt complete combustion. You can move the heat but be careful not to "dance" those flames. I love these heaters. They add a lot of moisture to the air in the winter which is good.

Old school wood stove with bricks in them got me through whole war in Bosnia, plenty of wood luckilly.
Heating and cooking as most days we only had electricity for 3-4 days per MONTH, and 5 years like that.
Hand made candles and car batteries for light if you had a car or money for gas.
We had oil cups with beer cap and whick through hole in middle.
80%water,.bit of oil on top and candle ready.
If you had propane tank you were rich.

A friend and I took an unused sauna heater from my moms house and put it in his garage. Put a box fan on it like you have done and that thing melted the snow a good 9 feet all the way around the garage generally if you were in working you would have to open up the overhead door and cool it down a bit. It was electric. I hope you have some carbon monoxide detectors…!

I have the same one (not the big one). I have a big tank outside for it. It will heat up my whole 800 sq ft home on the lowest setting. I put a small, skinny set of 2 fans at the top of the doorway to the kitchen and bedroom and it will send the warm air from the ceiling area into there. It has been a lifesaver during the winter months, specially when power was out for 3 days cuz of Helene.
