I kinda love the "Tartarian Empire" conspiracy theory, because the main basis of it is basically people going, "why do these old buildings / buildings in old photos look fancier than modern buildings?" No, they dont say that people forgot or didn't write it down. The theory links the overwhelming amount of mental institutions founded around the same time, and what they call the orphan trains and cabbage patch kids events that were used to repopulate with a new history.
Any descentors would be sent to asylums and the new generation can be taught anything. Libraries and architecture burned in great city fires around the whole world and lots more strange evidence. Im not convinced by it all, but
