How to make Urad dal flour:

🔹Take 1 cup whole urad dal without skin and dry roast well until golden.

Initially you can keep the flame high but towards end (once aroma wafts or colour starts to change) you should keep the flame low and make sure to roast thoroughly to ensure crisp roasted urad dal which ensures easy and fine powder while grinding.

🔸 Cool down and powder in mixie.
🔹 Sieve and store in airtight container to use in your home made snacks.

How to make Rice flour:

🔹Soak raw rice for 3 hours minimum. You can use IR 20 or even eating rice like Sona masuri.
🔸Drain and spread in a kitchen towel for 10 mins.
🔹Grind in mixie and sieve it.
🔸Roast well until steam starts to rice and the flour is free flowing that, you will be able to draw a line seamlessly.
