The song that you released, melodies of hope, it’s my go to when I’m feeling down. It lifts my heart and soul.

'I follow the moon' by Malukah is a good one against depression. She generally is such a wonderful calm and friendly presence.

It would be incredible to see you two perform together sometimes, you both seem pretty easy going and modern bards.

Seether- Words as Weapons
Helps me reign in the chaos of anxiety and point me back toward what makes me happy.

"With or Without You" by U2 and "Are You Strong Enough (To Be My Man)" by Sheryl Crow helped me survive the loss of my Partner from cancers. These helped me realize how many emotional and Spiritual gifts I had been given over our years together.

Disturbed has helped me a lot...as I was 14 dealing with parent's divorce, later with the lack of love, and now when I'm forty as well with a lot of issues. Their music, and lyrics are giving me an energy, and helps me to sleep well. They put a lot of effort to help people thinking about commiting suicide. DISTURBED, love you guys.

Funny enough: Your song Leaves and Lemons. I heard it 15 Minutes ago in my car after work. I don't know why, but I had a rough day today. I feel sad and empty, but your song came to my mind and lifted my mood for a bit. The lack of lyrics and the somewhat uplifting melody calms my mind. :)

On the contrary. When my fiancee and me broke up, my mind was full of sad songs describing my situation and making everything much worse.
What helped a lot: Going out, meeting new people, hearing other music and having new favourite songs!

Almost all Linkin Park Songs. They let me know that I am not alone and there are more people like me who live behind a mask and feel alone or misunderstood and suffering from long term depression

Whitney Houston - Step by step..helped me when I was feeling down many years ago...when I didn't know how to continue...
And more recently Faun - Alba II (Lauf nicht davon, ich kann den Morgen sehen. Wir liefen weit, nun lassen wir den Winter ziehen)

As a teenager, I went through a very rough patch at one time and one day as I didn't feel like living anymore, I turned on the TV and at that exact moment it happened to be the premiere of the music video for the Billy Joel song "Only Human". That song saved my life. And still to this day when I'm going through some hard times, I just play that song and remember that "we are only humans. We're supposed to make mistakes."

Disturbed - The light. There is a line in there "Don't let hope become a distant memory". That has been keeping me going for a while now.

The Islander, by Nightwish. Saved me from almost every bad moment in my life. It taught me to look forward as it comforted me in my times of need.

When I had a crisis, I often listened to something from modern classics, such as Hanz Zimmer, or with the Pop group Fun. Mika. Each person has his own music, which helps to avoid the crisis, I advise you to look for it in the good memories of your life, there are many things you can find.

Evanescence - Bring me to life. Trying to deal with life itself due to undiagnosed autism.
Wim Sonneveld - Aan de Amsterdamse grachten. When my mother died, she loved those kind of songs.
Tori Amos - Winter. Dealing with my fathers passing and finaly getting diagnosed, slowly learning why life was so f*cked up all this time.
The Dolmen - Lost realms. Whenever I'm sad.

A decade ago, I suffered with a bad gall bladder for the better part of a year. Mentally singing Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" helped me ignore the pain. (Currently, I listen to the Wake Me version more often.)
