One of my favorite screen free activity is let Abby help me clean around, we just enjoy doing thing together 😂

My goal is not to make her clean the house for me, I also don’t expect a perfect job (I don’t even expect her to complete it).

My purpose is to teach her life skills that she’ll use in the future, start making this a routine, and spend time together.

This way it will be easy in the future when cleaning become a responsibility.

This how we do it:
✅I always ask her if she wants to help me, she can say yes or no.
✅ If she says no, it’s ok, I try again later with another thing. (It will always be something it needs to be clean 😆)
✅ I make sure show her first what to do, I do it slowly and try not to say too much.
✅ Then I let her do it, and if I see she doesn’t know what to do next, I give her short directions but I let her do it.
✅ I make sure to always say thank you!
✅ Cleaning is not fun, but I rather see it as an opportunity to spend time with my baby, so I take my time and let her lead, we enjoy it!
✅ I avoid asking her to help me when I’m in a rush
✅ I am trying to make it part of our routine, every day we clean for few minutes.
