The factory air intake system on the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is designed to draw fresh air, but it has room for improvement. STILLEN's engineers identified two main issues: disruptive airflow and heated air intake due to the radiator. By creating a proper scoop, our design team optimized airflow directly into the intake system without interference or pre-heating.

During testing, we found that this new scoop significantly improves airflow efficiency by lowering the base of the radiator shroud to align with the top bar of the grille. This design prevents air from being warmed by the radiator and eliminates turbulence, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient air intake process.
