Fun fact.
To those wanting to fill the GO dex in Home, you can do this too.
Send the base mon to Home. Evolve it in SV (if they are available in the regional dex). Return it to Home. The evo will still register as GO mon.
No need to grind and then waste candies in GO to evolve. Especially hard to find mons.

There is another way. You can get any pokeball on any regional form
Letās say you wanted a hisuian growlithe in a luxury ball. Youāll need to get a hisuian growlithe and get an everstone. Then youāll need a regular growlithe of the opposite gender and catch that in a luxury ball. Then you start a picnic and start breeding eggs. Might take a few tries to get it in the luxury ball but after you have the hisuian growlithe in the luxury ball you can breed it with a ditto to breed for a shiny hisuian growlithe in luxury ball

Since Gen 7 you can breed the variant holding an everstone while the regular one is in the pokeball you want. you will eventually get the variant in the ball you want. This works for own tempo Rockruff too

There are even a few Hisuian PokĆ©mon we can do this with in SV alone now, with the DLC! You can breed the H-Growlithe from Perrin with an Everstone to try and get a different ball, and the Indigo Disk allows you to catch wild H-Qwilfish and Kleavor in whatever youād like.

Thatās what I did with my gengar. I found a modest haunter when I was around level 17, no one to trade evolve it with, so I just left it in a box. HOME comes out, I switch it to legends Arceus use a linking cord to evolve it, bring it back.

For pokemon like hisuian sneasel or zorua that cant be catched in sv, just get any hisuian form you want, transfer it to sv, equip an everstone to it, and breed it with the same specie so you have a 50/50 chance for the pokeball to be the one of the partner (not sure if the home pokeball can be inherithed tho, so it could be a 100% chance of the partner pokeball), if you breed with a ditto, it wont inherit ditto's pokeball, if it cant inherit any pokeball from the parents, it will get a simple pokeball

Fun fact: Some stuff is bunked up with certain evolutions.
Hisuian Qwilfish and Stantler have their evolution methods coded into SV. Use Barb Barrage/Psyshield Bash 20 times (altered from LA to remove styles). However, these methods are disabled despite being possible (transferring/breeding these with the required moves).
then others are also coded in but the items aren't found and also don't work if hacked in: Peat Block for Ursaring (doesn't require moon phase), Black Augurite for Scyther, and also the Galarian Cuff/Wreath for Galarian Slowbro.
Others that should be technically replicable are fine, like Basculegion (esp since it's in Kitakami anyways), Sneasler and any other that have base hisuian forms are fine, but obviously ones where only the evolution are regional are still stuck only being obtainable in Legends Arceus

I like doing this but with prevos from their home regions. As an example, an ursaluna from a teddiursa caught in HG/SS. Or a kleavor from a scyther caught in FR/LG. Makes them interesting

If you want to do this with growlithe, sneasel, and zorua, you can catch their regular form in the preffered ball, put an everstone on the hisuian forme, and then breed it until the egg shows the wanted ball.
