Let's be honest. Bane screaming in agony while experiencing a huge overdose of Venom is one of the most horrible things we experienced in our childhood.

In the comics he stopped using venom long ago. He saw it as a crutch & to him that was weakness. He still wore the gear at times for posterity & psychological intimidation against his foes, the He didn't use the stiff anymore.

The Venom literally ate him alive after all those years. He probably deteriorated so bad that he just used it all the time. Kinda like a junkie needing their fix in order to function. Or an alcoholic needing a drink (or plenty of drinks) just to start their day and constantly drink in order to get through the day.

Bane was Batman's strongest opponent. He was one of the few people who knew Batman's identity and defeated him on a few occasions. To see Bane in such a withered state after years of using venom is rather sad. Great video, Miri Dawn. β€π
