Welcome to early 2000's Texas hard rock, lads. It is a harder riff version of what was coming out of the Mussel Shoals area in the 60's. Frankly, it is the MOST fun to sing to, therapeutically, because you get out the aggression but can slow down and dump the pain, sadness and loss. Bands like Strongpoint and Texas Hippie Coalition were doing that before several Oklahoma and Kansas bands followed suit. But Canada's incredible band, Big Wreck, was skirting around it, too... because the great Ian Thornley understood both old school blues and modern hard rock. Same with Miles Kennedy.

Solo man was not entirely in the groove, but he could easily make that work even better with a few hours !! Rock on, loved it! πŸŽ‰

It sounds like something I would do and I've been playing for almost 40 years. I play Pentatonic blues a lot. But I also do metal chords a lot.

well, it's not as if the blues is the template on which all rock and metal was born... oh wait, it is, therefore, ofc course it's gonna sound killer
