I agree completely. I really don't think we have seen the last of Cortana. I just hope it's somehow the same Cortana and not some version 2.0 but we shall see. She's just such an important character to the games and the books and the universe as a whole. I can't imagine future stories without her in it. Idk, we will just have to wait and see

Cortana's return will depend on the halo fan's responses if you take a look at one of the interviews of the model playing cortana in Halo 4, she was asked the question "Do you think you will be cortana again in Halo 5?" and she responded with saying that is depended on the fans reactions.

Cortana isnt dead just stuck in another universe at the end of halo 4 she said she only has enough power to bring one of us back so master chief had to go but cortana is like a said another chip or universe she's not dead
