Bro if war thunder sim had a mode that made it so you could utilize multiple teammates per plane if it usually had more than 1 crew would be sick af. Imagine a dual seat a10 where one could focus on flying and dog fighting/avoiding shootdown while the other dealt with ground radar targets or more honed in situational awareness. I think thatd be dope.

so far with my f4f german i have to be withing 8 km of the battle field because war thunder doesn't want to show the enemy tanks and if I see them most time there not really driving there so I cant lock on them.

For me the most reliable is the B. Sorry, but the D and G have such a low zoom in the seeker so that you really have a hard time to find an enemy and even if you find one, you have to preciely point the 2 pixles in the center towards the 1pixle of the enemy IR signature to get a lock. It is very hard to aim in my opinion

Not sure if this applies to other aircraft that use the mavericks, but in the hunter F58 I am able to lock targets on the ground while in third person and instantly launch, the only issue with this is that it may lock destroyed vehicles and sometimes if I launch at close range the missile may miss, regardless I like to use this tactic for very quick and unexpected strikes that are very deadly and will very likely end what ever they touch.
