💦Pittmoss changed the game for us last year, big time! We mixed this into our soil and it made a HUGE difference in the amount of watering we had to do.
🙌This soil amendment helps with water retention and aeration in your soil. You can also use it alone. We used it without anything else in the raised bed in this video and everything we grew in it was beautiful! Yarrow, mullein, cucumbers, peppers, basil, epazote, and marigolds.
🔥Without Pittmoss and using hemp mulch in our garden last year, we would’ve lost everything. We had temps over 100 degrees for nearly three months straight! This honestly helped our garden keep on keepin’ on during the heatwave.

You could also plant a low growing plant like white clover, which will also add nitrogen into the soil.

Its just overpriced potting mix with shredded paper used in place of peat.
There's a million things you can do that are more effective for free or super cheap that aren't $35/2 cu ft bag.
