The natural materials can sometimes be tricky to get a nice shaped head without any sticking over the eye of the hook. Here is my method of doing this which I feel is one of the easiest. The material can be slick in calf tail, and even tricky in Bucktail. So tying it in sticking out further over the eye first, then bringing it back can make this much easier and lessen the chances of the thread jumping forward.
