I think that is derived a lot from the fact that the general consumer has a lot of trust issues we have been screwed over by several companies promising miracles and then delivering disappointment that when a consumer finds a product that works for them they are going to continue to buy that same product until they can no longer get it and then they will venture out to something else by then it's probably going to take them a couple products going through a couple things. What they don't mention here is If the product doesn't perform the same as when they first bought it consumers will not repeat again so it's not that we want the same thing again again again it's that we want a product that works tried-and-true item versus spending money on something that we don't know when we buy if it's going to work. I also blame buying things from say China cheap knockoffs and getting disappointed it puts people at edge even when you're buying a legitimate well-crafted product
