The STRV was basically one of their older tanks with a new turret. Supposedly they have a lot of narrow bridges and roads, so to make sure they could maneuver their homeland, all their tanks from WWII pulse a bit are really skinny. You just notice it on this one bc of the modernish turret

That would probably kill the drivers in the Lancia just from the muzzle blast and pressure coming out of the 100mm gun. Like enough to turn the brain in to mush.

The M1 Abrams turret is not symmetrical. The right side has a different angle in order to accomodate the gunner

Fun fact: even when the gun of the A-10 is not centered, it fires from the left barrel when looking from the front, meaning it fires from the center.

Every time he says something about a vehicle, not being perfectly symmetrical it grinds my gears. Those ones always hit the worse.

The strv 74 is shaped like that to house the bigger canon fitted, but was also to fit on some tighter Swedish roads in the cities
