Hey, I have been learning through your videos, thank you for that. I have been writing since two years, but have the planning and it's been a total of three years from now that I have the idea of my novel. I wrote the first draft, of my debut series, learning all the while about story structures and many more things. I haven't been much of an avid reader but I really hope to read as much as I can, so that I learn more. At the moment, I am rewriting my first draft, with multiple edits along the way and it is getting really boring as most of the stuff needs to be rewritten and my entire efforts the first feels a waste. I know with each draft and edits, my work is getting better but I really want to publish my book by the end of this year and develop a consistent habit of publishing a book a year or less. For a first timer, writing every day, despite setting goals ain't easy and I balance myself between getting too overwhelmed and not doing anything at all. I really hope rewriting could be easier or enjoyable. I don't know or have any community to write along, neither do I have beta readers who would read for free. Some rare and terrible moments I even felt like giving up entirely. To quit writing when infact it has been a bliss for the past three years. I hope I could be more disciplined with my writing, more punctual and get the thing done. I do enjoy the writing process but I write on my phone and it isn't that exciting at most times. Writing on paper with no ability to edit, I would make a mess with the scribblings all over the page, which would take another extra time to re type it all. Idk how to get my writing complete and out in the world.
