Edit: To people asking when it is and that they've never heard of/don't celebrate it, that may just be because you're American. America doesn't celebrate international womens' OR mens' day. It's November 19th, and raises mens' issues such as ab*se, s**cide, parental alienation, h*melessness, and v*olence. Many, many, MANY countries celebrate it by giving men in their lives flowers and gifts, just like men do for womens' day. If you've never heard of it, there's a more than decent chance that you literally just don't live in a place that celebrates either. Anyway tell any man in your life who complains about international womens' day to get a grip, and then get him flowers on November 19th. It proves your point, and it's a nice thing to do.

To the people who say "there should be a men's day": 1) there's already an international men's day. 2) Women's day is much more important than men's international day (saying this as a man) because women had to fight to not be ostracised for showing skin, not listening to their abusive husbands, speaking out against their r*pists, being hired, getting paid just as much as men.... Women had to go through a lot (and still go through a lot in most areas of the world) to maintain their rights just because the patriarchy is too misogynistic to treat them fairly.
