I believe because when I needed fatherly wisdom, his wisdom was exhaulted. He was there when I was a kid in my father forcing me to go to church a few times. I hated it at the time but I saw my father was just trying to show me something that helped him. At the end of the day every bit of smarts or wisdom we have over this world is nothing because every bit of it was based in trying to relate to something or someone. The Wright brothers related math and aerodynamics together and made a plane. Newton related math and a falling apple together to make our basic laws of physics. At the end of the day all wisdom is meaningless if we can't relate on the origin. Faith is not blind but life with no faith is a fate worse than being blind. We all have blind spots, a man with no eyes at least understands that.
