According to the bible is it ok for a christian to take medicine when we are supposed to rely on Jesus for healing? Sam Shamoun gives a clear answer that yes and that it isnโt against it because God uses these elemental substances to heal the body and Jesus himself even comparing himself to a doctor who heals people . So biblically it is rightfully allowed

There are some preachers who say using any psychotropic medications shows a lack of faith. I agree with Sam. James said โevery good and perfect gift is from above.โ Medications that relieve human suffering are good. They are from God. We can use them, even if we caused our own suffering. Jesus took the punishment for our sins. Punishing ourselves by refusing to use the medication God has provided to relieve our suffering is ungrateful.

If you can. You can practice lowering your dosage. And practice being close to a sober mind. It may hurt a little but that will make you stronger too and healthier. Practicing sobriety and being sober minded and having self control is what Jesus also talks about too. Iโm just helping you brother.
