My friend was diagnosed with diabetes in year 2 (thats age 6) and she could not be less embarrassed about it. She decorated her pump (the thing she has) and if she's questioned on it she just goes "I'm diabetic" and offers to explain it if they don't know. Its so sweet watching her not let her medical problems get in the way of life, or let it control her. I love her β€πβ€
