The "Love Theme from The Godfather" is a sad sounding piece composed by Nino Rota. To make it sound happy I applied a concept known as modal transposition (a.k.a. modal interchange). First I play the beginning of the melody in the key of A minor and than in the key of A major. When transposing from A minor to major the following notes change: C to C#, F to F# and G to G#.
