Usually in an emergency brake situation I simultaneously hit the clutch and the brake. I feel like if you just brake and the car stalls that you can get yourself in an even trickier situation, especially highway speeds 100+km/h โ 60mph and car goes into neutral all at the exact same time.
Want to make sure my car is still able to be started, ready and able to drive into the shoulder or the next lane to avoid a rear end collision after such a sudden brake
