The Jedi were far from perfect. This is a great example. Their way of dealing with their emotions is to remove them completely. And everything that makes them feel emotions. This was to strengthen them but was always their biggest weakness. In my opinion.

Iβm gonna make this perfectly clear as a lifelong Star Wars fan. Luke would never deny Din from visiting Grogu. Disney would deny Din from visiting Grogu.
