I think they should have thrown a coat over her or something rather than throwing her out of her father's funeral. Even better, brought a backup outfit knowing she might be stubborn about her clothes.
However, in some cultures funerals are very formal events with specific rules that involve whole communities. Showing up in casual, immodest, and potentially graphic clothing could be seen as a public insult to her father's memory.

Its not hard to still style for you but dress appropriate. Black dress or long skirt and blouse, wear the fishnets under those if you must, jewelry can minimal but still you. Wear some rings and a longer necklace. The sister has choices and picked the wrong ones because it sounds like she doesn't like her family. While I can understand that, there's a time and place to give them the bird without flipping the bird.

She should be able to go to her own father’s funeral regardless of what she wears! Like I agree that she could’ve chosen something more appropriate but kicking her out of her dad’s funeral is WAY too far!! Funerals are really important and everyone should be allowed to attend and mourn the person that they lost.
When my grandpa passed in a motorcycle accident, they made it an open funeral and all his biker friends came, some of them actually wore nice clothes, one person showed up without a shirt on and just an unbuttoned vest. But did they kick him out? No, because he deserved to be there to say goodbye just as much as anyone else. This girl was the DAUGHTER of the diseased. If anyone should be allowed to be there, regardless of wardrobe, it’s her!

imo this wasnt the time for an ultimatum. The wedding would have been better for a foot down moment because if she didn't find a nice lacy black dress she could hide converse under, you could kick her out and shed probably get over it with time. denying someone their fathers funeral? not only are we definitely on the charcoal side of morally grey, if she never forgave you I'd understand her. idk why her attire was more important to you than her grief.

Im gonna be honest... Someone died, and you're concerned with what a person chooses to wear at a funeral. You are a horrible person for depriving a mourning person the chance to see their dead relative one last time. Its cruel and disgusting. Idgaf what she was wearing so long it wasnt a bikini or birthday suit.
"In order for us to allow you to see your dead relative, you must dress in a way i think is okay." Absolute psycho

The poster is a terrible person. I don't care if she showed up in her birthday suit. You just kick out your sister from her father's funeral because of your OPINION of what should be done.
You are not God nobody is. You do not have the right to tell other people what is right and what is wrong. Nobody has the right to tell people what they have to do in order to be right. This poster was extremely inappropriate for thinking she has the right to tell other people what is right in the world.
Last time I checked no human being has ever ascended to being a God or a goddess. Nobody has the right to tell other people this is what you have to do in order to be "right".
People are ridiculous. 🙄😐😮
