There's 2 reasons not to drink expired products in plastic bottles.
1) The obvious one, because the drink/etc itself went bad.
2) Because the plastic has been breaking down since the expiration (or at least has gotten to the point where it's unsafe for human consumption at the point of expiration). It's why bottles of water expire; not because water can go bad, but because the bottle the water comes in goes bad.
TL;DR: Don't consume heavily expired products from plastic containers!!!!
