most people who ship these two only say they fit together because lloyd is the only one who can try and play with the queen while the queen is the only one who can keep him on a leash, while that's true, it's not the correct way of putting it: they take each other seriously, that's what's happening. the queen is the only one to properly acknowledge lloyd's talents and lloyd knows damn well he better not make her his enemy. every other lady dismisses lloyd and/or ends up going for xavier/javier, but the queen is the only one to see (and use) lloyd's potential, meanwhile, she is the only one lloyd cannot afford to treat like any other pawn, and even though he gets the better of every situation even from her, it's not really like he manipulates her like he does to some other characters, when it come to her he can merely do his best (and generally succeed) at making a situation convenient/profitable for him one way or another.
