If you want to grow pepper plants from store but peppers use red peppers.Believe it or not red yellow orange and green peppers are all the exact same bell pepper just a different stages of ripeness that’s why red peppers are usually more expensive. Also, it’s best to use the paper towel method to germinate seeds. Peppers usually like full sun, and not waterlogged soil. I highly recommend watching the YouTube channels Project diaries and suburban Homestead for great planting tutorials.

I'm a gardener. I don't know if this was a joke or not, but I'm gonna give you advice anyway. First off, those weren't pepper plants. That was some sort of grass seed that blew into the bucket. Secondly, peppers and tomatoes are really, really easy to grow. They're the best beginner plants, especially if you live in a relatively hot climate. Where I am, a packet of pepper seeds is not that much more expensive than a bell pepper. Basic garden plant seeds are like 2 dollars a packet. The whole "growing from my garbage" idea is great, but no matter how I've tried, I've never gotten a bell pepper from the grocery to grow new plants. Idk if they're a sterile hybrid, or harvested underripe or what. They just don't grow.
