INGREDIENTS

1 cup sushi rice, or short-grain white rice about 180g dry, rinsed until clear and drained
1 cup water 240g* see note
1 cup wet konjac rice, also called shirataki rice or Miracle Rice about 200g, rinsed and squeezed of excess water

INSTRUCTIONS

Rinse the rice thoroughly and drain.
In the inner pot of the rice cooker, mix the rice with 1 cups of water.
Stir in the konjac rice into the pot and use a spoon to distribute it evenly.
Set your rice cooker to the BASIC or WHITE RICE setting and press Start.
Once cooking is finished, let the rice rest in the cooker for about 10 minutes. Then, using a rice paddle or spoon, gently mix to reincorporate any konjac rice that may have floated to the top.
Enjoy! This recipe yields approximately 4 cups of rice
