I don't stack a lot, but some of the newer cameras do it for you as well, so that's always worth checking out for me. One of the things I didn't like about stacked images is I like the background in the mountains to look a little bit hazy because that is actually how I human I sees it so it's a little bit different approach and keeping the image real, but I tend to use the hyper focal method which gives acceptable sharpness throughout the image but thank you for this tips I don't have Lightroom classic and I have to do my stacking in affinity, but that works okay as well. I have stacked a couple of images and they did look nice. But sometimes they don't always align

When you paint black on the top layer's sky, it'll take out that layer's sky. However, how do you have the remaining parts of the 2 layers merge together so the infocused parts could show together? It wasn't clear in the video about that part..

I'm having trouble trying to focus landscape photos with moving clouds in the sky. If I use Photoshop's Auto Stack function, the sky gets messed up due to the cloud in different positions in each pic.. Any tips, please?

Thank you!

A much, much better way is auto-align layers, then blend in photoshop. Why would this not be your recommendation?

Just shoot large format

Whoa! You are over the horizon and we are still searching for the starting blocks. A lot more in depth please for those who are trying to learn these techniques.
