That mini UPS is a great looking little integrated solution, particularly for the low power QDX application. I have a scaled up version where a solar panel charges a 12V LiFePO4 battery through a DC-DC converter used as a charge controller by adjusting the output to 14.2 volts. The battery output can directly power 12 V ham gear that's usually good for up to 15 VDC. For the QDX, I'd power it through another DC-DC converter adjusted to 11.5 VDC, or in a pinch, a series string of five diodes to drop the voltage to a safe level if the DC-DC converter injects too much noise into the QDX (probably not). Arizona has a lot of sunshine, and some of the times you'll need EmComm you also won't have AC power.

limitations with these backups. i have the 6000mah version of the talent cell. what i can say is talentcells tend to have voltage fluctuations that i use them just for low power devices with low amp requirements. they're bad when you have to power something nearing 3 amps. but they are also sometimes the only game in town for portable 9 to 12v above 2amps with the dc barrel jack option. flaw is lack of pd for power regulation.
strangely enough, the shargeek powerbank does barrel jack output as well as 12v pd usb c that it had been my go-to. but i certainly wouldn't use it for a backup ups because it's too nice for other use cases.

Now this is a solid solution that addresses a few things all at once. Great find!
