I've said it once, I'll say it again, what Sprintcar Racing, and Speedway more broadly, needs in this Country, are at least two dirt tracks of 1/3rd of a mile or bigger to be built and a Wingless Sprintcar Class with 410" ci engines, although there's no harm in keeping a separate six cylinder Wingless Division as a sort of "preparatory Division", not to mention the fact that it's a way cheaper option by orders of magnitude, and the experience gained by competing in it, would be indispensable to any seeking to then step up to the 410" in class.

EDIT : - But imagine what it would be like to see our own drivers, on our own tracks of 1/3rd mile or greater, thunder down under full throttle into turn one, throwing rooster tails into the crowd? Like the "day's of yor" at the old Sydney Showground Speedway, or the Claremont Speedway in Perth. Both of them, 1/3rd mile tracks. I know that modern drivers aren't scared, we send them to the States left right and centre and they come back with all their own limbs attached, so what's stopping us?
