WHO ARE WE?
We're the Fosters, and we just sold our house , purchased a sailboat, Cadence, a Catalina 387, and sailed away from land. We're on a journey to minimize our life, learn to live on a sailboat, and travel the oceans.

OUR STORY thefosterjourney.blog/
LIVE MAP OF CADENCE LOCATION thefosterjourney.blog/map/
HOMESCHOOL thefosterjourney.blog/how-to-homeschool-on-a-sailb…

In 2019, Matt quit his public education career of 15 years, and went full-time building his own business. Olivia is ready to explore the world via sailboat, and so am I.

We're sharing this journey with you in hopes that it'll bring you a smile, provide something helpful, and maybe give a bit of inspiration to live life on your terms - to explore your world.

Join us in these weekly episodes as we take this journey into the unknown, and share some laughs along the way.

You'd never be out of fuel or water on a Silent.

So you're actually sailing, instead of motor sailing. Modern sailors are now just motor sailors😂😂

Look into Edison generators from old car generator chisel off one sixth on and off to three sixths on and off alternating on and off to the move the Tesla magnets from the armature magnets and leave the Edison magnets on the armature and wire inverters to deliver high voltage AC.

I dont understand it when you run out of fuel on a passage you kno you have a limited amount y does one use it all just to try to make a faster passage but yet you have to put people and boat at risk sailing into a ⚓ you mostly have not been in before just dont get this thought
