It depends. Did you do the same makeup or did she want something totally different? If she wanted something different NTA, but if you did the same thing just for a different occasion, such an AH.

If it's the same supplies, time, and effort as you would use for normal party makeup, it is horrible to make her pay $350 extra just cause she's a bride. You didn't do the bridesmaids or anything, so it is insane to charge so much. So many places do this just because it's a wedding and it is not right.

Whats the difference?? Also, you agreed to do party makeup, so do party make up, and only charge $150. If it needs such a price change, then just do what she is paying for. You are the AH for pushing other charges on her when she did not agree.

Okay first off I'm an MUA and THE ONLY REASON i charge more for bridal makeup is because my process if far more different and more luxurious. Skin care prep and setting time is a factor as it adds 40 minutes to the overall time frame but if its the same as standard makeup without my extra skincare steps and longevity products then yea its gonna cost the same. Wont last through the tears as i probably didnt use waterproof mascara and eyeliner so it would be easier for the client to remove after a night of partying but it would be the same

Oh yea the bride was dead wrong for that! And thats crazy someone would even do this! I think the prices are crazy but everyone has their set prices for their services. I do nails so i know how she sees it. But a lot of people now days just get greedy.. she could have met her hallway

So she did party makeup but wanted to charge her bridal makeup because heard she was the bride?! If went to do party makeup agreed to the price of the look the client wanted then wanted to up charge because she heard she was the bride not because she did anything different or used makeup that cost more. I assuming the did a consultation or and inspiration picture was shown.
