Hey everyone. Hope this finds you well. As the title says, Thursday's short features Trouble and the late Eric Wagner (RIP - 2021)on vocals. Going back to their 2nd album, The Skull from 1985 and this track "Truth Is - What Is". The follow-up album to their awesome 1984 debut (self titled, but in 1990 re-titled Psalm9 after their 4th lp).
Their influences are clearly in Sabbath and other early hard rock and heavy metal acts of the late 60's early 70's...and they embraced it. Labeled as Doom Metal, I just refer to them as heavy tuned down metal! Whatever one calls them...doesn't much matter. If you've not heard them, check out any their first five albums (even their sixth - Plastic Green Head I like...just not as much), though any featuring Wagner on vocals are awesome imho.
Just recently picked this one up on vinyl and am so glad to finally have this format. it sounds better than ever imho. Just amazing!
