I feel like the boyfriend shouldnโt come knowing theyโll be drama. But also realize that it was probably tough to bring it up to you and how it may feel for them and his boyfriend. Explain gently why he canโt come but show empathy. It probably again wasnโt easy to build the courage to bring it up.
