I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's, my TPO antibody test showed it when my T3 and T4 were 'normal enough.'
I've had the symptoms since puberty. Actually, I've had times where I fit Grave's disease too. So, I think that my thyroid operates in the hypothyroidism range while my immune system is attacking my thyroid and when my immune system calms down(usually after prolonged used of steroids or antibiotics?) It becomes hypothyroid. I have ALL the classic symptoms.
My doctor refused to give me a referral to see a specialist because my t3 and t4 levels are acceptable, therefore the tpo antibody doesn't mean anything and I can't have Hashimoto's. It's ALL IN MY HEAD.
Classic.

Doctors think i have thyroid disease, but the medicine makes me sicker and depressed. I have tested any times with out taking the medication. It comes out my thyroids is fine. Doctors refused to acknowledge this , and i have changed few doctors. It's okay, because it prevents me getting cortisone shots for disc bulge and disc degenation. Over time, the injections destroy the body .
I have fibromyalgia and Pundendal Pundendal Neuralgia. I think fibromyalgia is from hyperactive vagus nerves and adrenaline glands. Medical community doesn't see both being the root cause. All from very traumatic early life and society making me be who i can not. This created self hatred.
I practice self positivity and think in presence, but still sick. I am glad the doctors just prescribed medication barley work. They damaged my liver during trying to help other symptoms. They don't gaslight me anymore.
Sadly, i can not work and need to keep going the doctors to get benefits.
