Diamond + doesn’t mean anything to the money it will cost RCL in court. She sued once, no saying she won’t again. They’re looking at her as a liability, and it’s their choice not to welcome her back.

A lot of people in the comments saying the lawsuit was justified, so they shouldn't have banned her, y'all don't know the first thing about lawsuits. In general, nobody does business with somebody that has sued them before, it's common sense because a person that sues you once is exponentially more likely to sue you again. Lawsuits are extremely expensive, even if you win. Royal Caribbean is just trying not to get sued again, it's a completely logical move on their part.

I can't judge RCCL for banning. I doubt the attorneys would allow the phone call if there was an active lawsuit. Or, they are certain of winning the suit and needed to ban the person. Need more information on the lawsuit and what happened.

So more information- it’s difficult to put everything in a short.
The person went to FB to vent and ask for advice why it happened.
Said they made multiple phone calls to Royal Caribbean and couldn’t get any more information.
Some said he was lying, others it was a scam, and a poster looked his info and found out he has sued Royal Caribbean.
He had a cruise booked in a week and Royal Caribbean canceled it.
Apparently the Info provided that the lawsuit showed they agreed to terms a couple of weeks ago.
Once called out they still acted clueless about why would Royal not want their money, as they were Diamond Plus and had on been 50 cruises with Royal.
He finally explained that his wife got injured, and it was Royals fault and that she would be Injured for life, and they got nowhere near the compensation that they needed.
Sorry I found it bizarre anyone would rebook a cruise with a company they thought was at fault for injuring their wife. Also, in every post they truly acted like they were clueless as to what was going on.
Hope that clears up the rest of the story.
