Amid heavy rain, 29-year-old Nasreen Qureshi from Pune fell into a 100-foot gorge while taking a selfie in Maharashtra’s Satara district. With the help of Home Guards and local residents, she was miraculously rescued. The video of this dramatic rescue has gone viral on social media, highlighting the bravery and quick action of those involved.

In the video, local residents can be seen throwing a thick rope down the gorge with a man descending to lift Nasreen to safety. Despite injuries, she was admitted to a local hospital and is now recovering. This incident occurred in an area where tourist visits had been banned due to safety concerns.

This rescue reminds us of the tragic incident involving Anvi Kamdar, who fell into a 300-foot gorge while making a video near Kumbhe waterfall in Raigad district last month. Sadly, she did not survive.
