Self-care can truly save your life, notnprotritizing it can actually kill you, scary, but I’ve seen it happen. As moms and women we are so programmed to care for others so much and to self sacrifice to the point of death, and I mean that. We kill ourselves to keep up and then we BREAK! It’s inevitable to stay going going going and not fall apart at some point. So here’s the five ways you can start, easily…
1. Step out for a moment whenever you need to: Taking a break helps you recharge and handle stress better.
2. Say No when it’s something that will cause resentment and Set Boundaries: Protects your mental health by prioritizing your needs and saying I can’t if it’ll simply be too much and make you mad or resentful
3. SLEEP MORE: Essential for physical and mental recovery, improving your mood and focus, I know there’s so much to do and the babies wake you bla bla bla, I know but every second of rest counts so do your best to law or a priority
4. Move Your Body: Boosts your energy and releases feel-good hormones, making you happier, so get out jump around, walk, laugh, dance a jig!
5. PRESENCE: Breathe in and feel yourself, right here, right now, notice your five senses, it’ll breed so much peace!
