My neurologist once said when I was younger that once you stop medication for 2 years and it comes back afterwards, then you can not stop it ever again which was my case. I get my seziure only once with a gap of minimum one year and last time the gap was 5 years with medication being taken. Sometimes, I have these thoughts that it would have been better if I hadn't let my body depend on medications, but I can be wrong, of course!
