I use the imitation crab meat for my cedar-planked salmon. I make a seasoned mayo mixture that I spread on the fillet to keep it from drying out and to 'glue' the imitation crab (that I have chopped finely in the processor) onto the fillet. I have a large charcoal grill so I can offset the plank and a double layer of charcoal to get it to 500 degrees under the lid. The 'crab' makes a crust and the mayo mix adds just the right amount of spice. Gets rave reviews every time.

You can unroll them, coat them in a potato starch and fry them. It's a crispy seafood snack.
