this is one of the FEW great adaptation of Kaido's attacks in the anime, no disrespect to TOEI, they've done a good job so far, but they sometimes struggle to depict Kaido's speed, Kaido is not really a juggernaut type dude 24/7, he can tank a lot sure, but the thunder baguas he dishes out are supposed to be these lightning fast strikes, it's definetly a speed based technique

The thing about this is we have seen it countless times…since Marine Ford twice Whitebeard reaching to Akainu and Shanks stopping Akainu again or Sabaondi Silver rally stopping Kizaru… Roger hitting Oden.
