Ingredients:
Tender jackfruit- half of a small jackfruit cut into small pieces
Add enough water and cook it with salt and turmeric powder ( 1/2 tsp )
For masala :
Fresh grated coconut- 1 cup
Coconut oil- 1 tsp
Coriander seeds- 2 teaspoons
Dry red chillies- 4
Roast above ingredients
Jeera - 1/2 tsp ( do not roast , just add to the coconut along with other spices and grind )
Grind all above ingredients adding water to a smooth mixture.
Method:
Cook tender jackfruit until well cooked . Now add the ground masala adding some more water . Check for salt and bring to a boil .
Season using coconut oil ( 2 tsp ), mustard seeds ( 1/2 tsp ) dry red chilli and curry leaves .
Enjoy with hot rice .
